THE VIEW FROM STATE STREET

VICTOR SKREBNESKI AND KINC MAKE MEMORIES FOR FIELD'S 150TH

THE COMMUNICATION CHALLENGE

For their 150th anniversary, Marshall Field’s partnered with world-renowned photographer Victor Skrebneski, for a shoot featuring models posing in the store's State Street windows. For the settings, Skrebneski wanted strong pieces reflecting Field's icons, while imparting a high-fashion setting.

THE DESIGN SOLUTION

Kinc designed a series of items, including a wall featuring Field's "Frango Mint" logo, a stylized closet of shoes, and a framework of highly structured pink tufted satin curtains.

Great idea! Now, how do we build it?...

KINC COMES TO THE RESCUE

With only one week turnaround, and working closely with Field's staff at every stage of the approval process, Kinc constructed and delivered the pieces, overseeing their installation in Field's State Street windows.

THE IMPACT
The final images were used by Field's for ad campaigns throughout their 150th anniversary year, and in addition, "The View From State Street" received the 2004 Gold RACie Award from the Retail Advertising and Marketing Association.
